GEORGE E. WAHLEN OGDEN VETERANS HOME is the premier long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Northern Utah. Eligibility for the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home includes U.S. Veterans who have served active duty, spouses of Veterans, and Gold Star Parents.
Some of our amenities include large private suites, inviting and home-like open air interiors, family dining for special occasions, open outdoor areas and private gardens.
We provide 5-Star quality rehabilitation, extended skilled nursing care and specialized memory care. Our staff, residents and volunteers create a warm and friendly community that seeks to uphold and affirm the dignity and joy of life as we care for the physical and emotional needs of our residents. Our care teams work together to create personalized treatment and activity plans to help patients through their care journey. At the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home, we are committed to create and maintain a high standard of living for all veterans we have the privilege of serving.
“ My father was admitted to the home in February 2025. The staff was amazing with him and really took time to address him as an individual with dignity, love and respect. They kept me involved with every step of his care and called every time there was a needed adjustment to his meds and routine. Ultimately , he lost his battle to Agent Orange this last week. We are grateful for the time and relationships he made while there and we will continue to be supporters of the home. Jessica, Kristen , Linda, Cleo, Mikayla, Dakota, Jackie, Mary, Lisa, in housekeeping, ( the entire laundry staff), Rexton ( we love you) and the list goes on and on of staff members who have a special place in our hearts.
