What has also really stood out to my family is how, from day one to nearly a year later, the staff has gone beyond what is expected to ensure not only his comfort but also to address the trauma and anxiety my brother and I have experienced. They’ve taken extra steps to care for us, which is far beyond their responsibility, but it shows just how committed they are to their residents and their families. When we first moved my dad in, he had lost his personality—he was a shell of himself. But within a month of being here, we saw his personality return. You can tell he feels safe and comfortable now, and that’s entirely thanks to the people here. Every single person, from the cleaning staff to the kitchen team to the aides, genuinely cares about him. They know personal details about him and always take the time to make sure he’s well cared for. The staff even takes the time to stop me in the hall to tell me how much they adore my father, and this means more to me than I can ever explain. This level of care and dedication is something we will forever be grateful for. The care provided here should truly be the standard for any rest home across the nation, setting the bar for what compassion and professionalism in elder care should look like. ”
