Our Story
WILLIAM E. CHRISTOFFERSEN SALT LAKE VETERANS HOME is a premier provider of post-acute and extended skilled nursing health care. We are located just off of 700 South Foothill Blvd, in Salt Lake City Utah, and conveniently on the same campus as the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Eligibility for the Salt Lake Veterans Home includes U.S. Veterans, spouses of active duty Veterans, and Gold Star Parents.
We provide 5-Star quality post-acute rehabilitation, extended skilled nursing care and specialized memory care. Recreational, cultural and social activities are offered on a daily basis. Our trained, dedicated staff of professionals demonstrate the highest standard in providing exceptional care to our Veteran Heroes and their families.

The PT & OT professionals are caring and competent. The hard-working CNAs are running constantly to residents' rooms to help veterans with their basic living needs. The maintenance staff is very responsive to special requests for equipment to tailor the residents' rooms to personal needs. And the professional medical staff of doctors and nurses do a great job of meeting veterans' medical needs, including medication. I can't recommend them too highly. ”
